I looked up and thought I saw your face but I was wrong it was a mistake
I went to say your name but my voice caught when I felt his pain
I thought perhaps it was just a dream but I felt him, it was as you'd seem
I wanted to punch to scream to question but I was stopped in my tracks by a voice that said to listen
I wasn't sure what to do or how I felt or what he was thinking but I guess I cared about him too much to start confliction
I don't remember sleeping or awaking to the day just that at somepoint someone had to know what I had to say
